We’re looking for a Digital Delivery Director / Project Director to join our team in London, UK in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will lead large-scale digital commerce, content and marketing transformation programmes for leading Retail and CPG organizations, ensuring end-to-end accountability for outcomes, budgets and client satisfaction. You will act as a strategic advisor while working hands‑on with globally distributed strategy, design, engineering and technology teams. The position calls for expertise in delivering complex programmes with measurable business impact, agile delivery leadership, composable commerce architectures and a solid grasp of how AI can responsibly accelerate outcomes within these ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of digital programmes with annual budgets of £10M+ from initiation to release in compliance with EPAM governance standards.
  • Drive large-scale ecommerce and composable commerce implementations alongside content and marketing technology solutions.
  • Apply agile methodologies throughout, monitoring delivery health, escalating risks early and maintaining transparency with all stakeholders.
  • Adopt business case-oriented delivery ensuring client objectives and KPIs are consistently met.
  • Promote responsible adoption of AI and Generative AI, scaling AI-enabled solutions from PoC to production while embedding governance for security, compliance and cost risk mitigation.
  • Manage geographically distributed delivery teams (80+ FTE) across on‑site, nearshore and offshore locations defining effective operating models and ensuring productivity.
  • Build strong client partnerships at VP and C-level, serving as the trusted delivery lead and supporting governance frameworks.
  • Participate in pre‑sales activities, prepare proposals and statements of work, and shape implementation planning aligned to client strategies.
  • Mentor and coach delivery teams to foster continuous improvement and a culture of excellence.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in digital delivery of commerce, content and marketing solutions with strong exposure to Retail and CPG sectors.
  • Proven success leading multi‑shore teams on complex transformation programmes exceeding £10M budget across the full project lifecycle.
  • Solid technical and delivery knowledge of ecommerce and composable commerce platforms along with core cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise applying agile delivery methods (Scrum, SAFe or equivalent).
  • Business case-oriented delivery experience with measurable ROI outcomes.
  • Familiarity with AI and Generative AI-enabled delivery, including advisory capability on acceleration opportunities and related risk management.
  • Ability to engage confidently with technology and business stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Nice to have: Degree qualification in relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Agile certifications (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) or PMP/Programme Management accreditation.
  • Experience implementing MACH frameworks, omnichannel solutions and marketing platforms.
  • Hands‑on involvement in AI/GenAI solution delivery into production environments.
  • Working knowledge of data governance and associated delivery principles.
