EP Group – Transport Administrator EP Group is an award winning, global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia. Our global headquarters in Birmingham is home to our dedicated paper manufacturing division providing a wide range of food packaging products for the likes of McDonalds, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs. It is also home to our transport team! We are now seeking a Transport Administrator to provide first class support for our transport team and fleet of UK drivers. The principal focus is to ensure all transport paperwork and documentation is prepared and processed in a timely and efficient manner. This is an exciting time to join a growing business in a role with clear career progression into transport planning! Key Accountabilities – Transport Administrator * Raise POs for Transport department and answer any queries relating to the POs * Booking container deliveries / collection on the on-line portal * Booking customers in for their transport deliveries * Manage driver holiday in line with the Office/Transport Manager * Brief and debrief drivers * Route planning driver days * POD billing for customers * Dealing with telephone enquiries from customers, drivers and colleagues * Checking and approving time sheets for agency drivers * White pallet track and tracing * Working on the DIMS system- checking invoices are correct * Texting drivers with their work for the next day * Produce driver working hours spreadsheet each week for the previous week (to be automated) * Holiday cover for PM transport planner Requirements – Transport Administrator * Good transport acumen with proven experience of working in transport or logistics * Attention to detail * A positive can do attitude * Team player * MS Office experience * SAP or transport management system experience would be beneficial * Ability to prioritise
