EP Ecology is seeking to employ an entry level ecologist to help deliver a growing workload of projects throughout Central Scotland.
Salary: £25,350-29,250 p/a pro-rata (6-month contract)
Hours: 16 hours per week + O/T
Start date: April to September 2026 (To be discussed)
About the Role
As a seasonal ecologist within the team, your role will be to support the staff in the day-to-day delivery of projects. This will involve fieldwork, bat video analysis, and opportunities to assist with GIS and reporting.
Responsibilities

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Full UK drivers licence and access to own vehicle
- Willingness to stay away from home as required
- The right to live and work in the UK
- The ability and confidence to work alone and as part of a team
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with at least one Scottish native species or habitat
- A degree in a relevant ecological field
- Membership of CIEEM
- CSCS Card Holder
- First aid trained
- Experience of QGIS/QField
