Position Overview

The Network Deployment Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing strategic network deployment projects with the goal of driving sustainable results and improving key performance indicators. This role requires a strong understanding of networking concepts, proven experience delivering process improvements, and the ability to work cross‑functionally across departments while communicating effectively at all levels of the organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, plan, and coordinate all aspects of technical network projects from initiation through delivery
  • Manage project initiation activities, including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, current-state environments, required stakeholders, and access to relevant information
  • Communicate project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and risks clearly and consistently
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non‑technical teams across internal departments, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and objectives are met
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure adherence to agreed scope and timelines
  • Conduct project closure activities, including formal acceptance, handover documentation, and communication of ongoing operational responsibilities
  • Lead post‑implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Project Management certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Technical Project Management, with a focus on networking initiatives
  • Solid working knowledge of networking concepts
  • Demonstrated success leading and implementing impactful process improvement projects
  • Self‑motivated and able to operate effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong leadership capability with sound judgement and decision‑making skills
