The Role

EOS is seeking a Client Platform Specialist to join a small, highly collaborative team supporting Meta. This role focuses on the setup, configuration, and support of a wide range of hardware devices, including computers, phones, tablets, VR headsets, and AR/MR devices. As part of the IT organisation, this position is well suited to someone who is passionate about technology, customer service, and problem‑solving, and who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. An interest in gaming and emerging technologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day support for operational requests through the internal tasking queue.
  • Support and develop automated solutions using PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Python.
  • Administer and maintain client system management tools, including PC, phone, and tablet imaging solutions.
  • Administer and maintain mobile device management (MDM) systems for Android and iOS platforms, such as ADB and Apple Configurator 2.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and automation.
  • Deliver technical support both remotely and onsite, including support at events.
  • Maintain and manage Windows, Android, iOS, and iPadOS system images.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for processes and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide onsite event support, which may include international travel outside of standard office hours.
  • Participate in off‑site, on‑call event support outside of normal office hours.

Skills and Experience

  • At least two years of experience supporting macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android in a corporate environment.
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
  • Experience working in a startup or fast‑growth environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
  • One or more years of enterprise Windows client management experience (e.g. GPOs, Chef, FOG, MDT).
  • Hands‑on experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience using ADB for flashing and sideloading devices.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including DHCP, TCP/IP, FTP, and PXE.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11, including deployment, Windows PE, registry, services, and scheduled tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux environments is an advantage.
  • Experience building PCs, particularly gaming PCs, with strong knowledge of current and upcoming components is a plus.

Additional Requirements

This role requires international travel. Applicants must hold a valid passport at the time of employment and maintain it for the duration of their time in this position.
