Customer satisfaction and a relentless commitment to quality are at the centre of everything we do, and we invest deeply in the people who make that possible.
As a Senior Sales Operations Associate, you own the commercial engine that drives quotes from request to delivery. You are the connective tissue between our customers, OEM partners, and distribution channels, operating with urgency, precision, and commercial intelligence. This is not a passive coordination role. You will be expected to anticipate bottlenecks, drive outcomes, and apply lessons from every engagement to become sharper and more effective over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end quote process. From the moment a customer request lands, you drive it forward proactively.
- Register and manage bid submissions directly with OEM platforms, including Cisco CCW and equivalent tools, working with OEM Account Managers to secure deal approval at the correct discount tier for the customer.
- Engage global distribution channels, coordinating with national and global distributors to secure competitive and accurate pricing.
- Build accurate, competitive, and professional quotes in Sage X3 and deliver them to customers with clarity, addressing questions, explaining commercials, and closing the loop.
- Maintain live visibility into OEM and distributor pricing across networking and Audio Visual hardware, proactively identifying pricing changes before they impact active opportunities.
- Translate lessons learned from previous projects into smarter future quotes and improved commercial outcomes.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and pricing trends across the hardware categories we sell, providing valuable market intelligence to the Account Management team.
- Maintain meticulous records of bids, pricing data, customer interactions, and deal history, ensuring documentation remains the source of truth for the commercial team.
- Drive final project invoicing in close coordination with Account Management, ensuring billing accuracy.
- Represent Sales Operations confidently in customer meetings, providing updates on quote status, pricing rationale, and timelines.
- Partner with Finance to resolve invoicing queries and manage customer follow-up with the same responsiveness applied to quoting activities.
- Mentor and coach junior Sales Operations Associates, setting the standard for accuracy, urgency, accountability, and ownership.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a sales support, sales operations, or customer-facing commercial role.
- Strong commercial understanding of hardware resale, including margins, cost structures, and technology procurement processes.
- Proactive problem solver who identifies solutions before escalating challenges.
- Experience using ERP or quoting platforms, including Sage X3 or equivalent systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to pricing accuracy and operational excellence.
- Clear, professional, and direct communicator across customers, OEMs, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, identifies risks, and acts decisively.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members through coaching and leading by example.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and creation of working documents.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-tempo, high-accountability environments.
- Genuine team player who contributes positively to team culture and collaboration.
Desirable Criteria:
- Domain knowledge of networking or Audio Visual technologies and environments.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco CCW, Sage X3, and Jira.
- Proven ability to apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve future commercial outcomes.
- Experience working within a reseller or Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environment supporting enterprise or Fortune 500 customers.
At EOS IT Solutions, we value individuals who bring strong hands-on experience while remaining curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in the quote process, OEM bid registration, and distribution channel engagement, who is looking to take on greater ownership and responsibility.
