We are seeking a talented and driven Commercial Lawyer to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with experience in corporate finance, company secretarial matters, experience of commercial infrastructure projects, and data protection (GDPR). This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of complex legal matters in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial matters, including:
- Corporate finance transactions (e.g., mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing).
- Company secretarial matters (e.g., board meetings, shareholder resolutions, Companies House filings).
- Commercial infrastructure projects (e.g., drafting and negotiating construction contracts, project agreements, and related documentation).
- Data protection and privacy matters (e.g., GDPR compliance, data processing agreements, privacy policies).
- Supply agreements
- Distribution agreements
- Licensing agreements
- Service agreements
- Joint venture agreements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
- 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate/commercial law.
- Strong academic background.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, corporate secretarial matters, commercial infrastructure projects, and GDPR.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
