A Fantastic Opportunity: Technical Coordinator Preston £34,242
As a Technical Coordinator, you will work as part of the office-based cut outs team, reporting to the Office Manager, planning in minor works on the LV network for our in-house jointing and electrical craft teams and delivery partners. A key part of your role is to arrange appointments with customers for external jointing works for cut out changes and to assess the work bank against our internal electrical network drawings (GIS Viewer). You will work closely with contractors and liaise with them to ensure all public and private jobs go ahead safely and to high customer standards.
In this role you will produce quality work orders for issue, updates and communication to In-house teams, Delivery Partners and Contractors. Responsibilities also include checking and processing as-laid drawings, building strong relationships with customers to maintain the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores, and responding to customer enquiries by providing advice on both specific and general aspects of the Cut-Out Change Programme.
The position requires ensuring dig calendars are booked in advance and that all contractors and in-house teams are utilised efficiently, as well as planning and booking incoming Connections work and liaising with relevant internal departments to address customer complaints. Additionally, the role involves providing technical advice to office colleagues on complex queries, contributing to a zero-accident culture through health and safety reporting and the safe planning of jointing works, and assessing job requirements to determine appropriate solutions based on site assessment surveys conducted by field teams.
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.

- Have the proven ability to achieve deadlines in order to meet individual and team set targets whilst meeting the demands of different stakeholders and contractors
