About the role: A Senior Quantity Surveyor who can provide commercial and contractual expertise to colleagues across the business supporting the management of projects in line with agreed contractual arrangements and obligations.

What we’re looking for: We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in driving commercial excellence and supporting project success. In this role, you’ll lead post-contract delivery and ensure robust commercial assurance across our business areas. You’ll be directly managing up to 5 people and you’ll work collaboratively with delivery managers and partners to manage contracts, variations, and risks, while championing continuous improvement and compliance with our internal controls. Your expertise will help forecast and control project spend, resolve contract issues, and identify opportunities for efficiency and value. We'd like to hear from you if:

  • Negotiating experience of contract terms and contractual claims from delivery partners.
  • Proficient in managing delivery partners differing views as to interpretation of contract terms, capable of managing and resolving valuation and additional cost claims.
  • Proficient in contract administration and management, experienced with standard form contracts such as NEC and JCT.
  • Cost value reconciliation, project management accounts, cost control and forecasting experience.
  • Competent negotiator with excellent contractor management skills, having a solid understanding of claims resolution.
  • Working towards or already have chartered status and have a Quantity Surveying Degree.
  • Essential to have a driving license.
