A Fantastic Opportunity: EHV Senior Authorised Person ( 33/132KV )
Electricity North West Construction and Maintenance team provides control, operation and maintenance agreements for approximately 1000 of the regions private network owners. Our specialist teams also provide design, installation and commissioning services for high voltage supplies and private networks.
As part of the operational team, the EHV Senior Authorised Person will own all operational elements including testing and commissioning of high voltage and low voltage electrical maintenance and construction projects on private and distribution networks up to 132KV, in accordance with HSE legislation and Electricity North West safe working practices.
Electricity North West (Construction & Maintenance) are seeking a responsible Senior Authorised Person who holds SAP EHV authorisation up to 132Kv.
Whilst based at our Blackburn depot the Senior Authorised Person will be required to work across the whole SP ENWL footprint and so we are seeking someone with full regional flexibility. You will have a sound working knowledge and understanding of commercial contracts, customer relationships and electrical safety, particularly being accountable for making the electricity network and working environment safe for our crafts people to carry out work, ensuring all operational staff and sub-contractors have the correct skills, competencies and authorisations to carry out allocated work.

- HNC Electrical Engineering (Essential)
- ENW 33/132kV SAP authorisation (Essential)
- DNO Trained 33/132kV SAP (Essential)
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence (Essential)
- Have knowledge and an appreciation of HV and EHV construction procedures
