About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Online MCR Assistant to join our busy and growing Online department. You will support our Avid Symphony, Autodesk Flame, and Filmlight Baselight suites, working across content from HD SDR through to 4K HDR and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, forward‑thinking environment, working alongside experienced editors and colourists on both large‑scale episodic productions and fast‑turnaround broadcast projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day‑to‑day operation of our Online and Grade suites (Symphony, Flame and Baselight)
  • Perform Avid conforms and pre‑grades. You must have demonstrable experience working with Avid Media Composer
  • Provide Flame support, including basic colour management workflows
  • General machine room tasks, including file‑based media ingest and exports
  • QC Broadcast and SVoD masters. Ensuring specifications are adhered to
  • Assist our Grade department with ad hoc requests (Baselight experience desirable; training provided)
  • Liaise with Production to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Have an understanding of workflows and colour management
  • Be comfortable working in a machine room environment
  • Possess excellent client‑facing and communication skills
  • Be highly organised, proactive, and a strong team player

Experience with Baselight and Flame is a plus, but not essential as training will be provided.

You will have regular exposure to high‑end suites and workflows, with opportunities to learn directly from experienced creatives. We are committed to developing our team, and many of our assistants have progressed into creative roles within the company.

Working Hours

40 hours per week Shift‑based rota, including evenings, weekends and some optional WFH.
