We are offering an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work alongside our client with complex needs in Rockland, St. Mary, Norfolk. You will be supporting a young man in his 20s who has complex needs due to Alfie's syndrome and spinal injury, including seizures, mobility issues and learning difficulties. Your role will be to support him physically and emotionally, helping him live life to the fullest.
Main duties of the job:
- Support a young man in his 20s with complex needs.
- Build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.
- Assist with daily activities and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow a detailed care plan with precision.
- Monitor and respond to seizures and epilepsy-related symptoms.
- Administer rescue medication if required, according to the care plan.
- Provide reassurance and safety during post-seizure recovery.
- Support a daily/nightly bowel and urinary programme.
- Manage mobility and physiotherapy exercises.
- Deliver medication safely and accurately.
- Use NG tube for drainage and BiPAP machine for breathing support.
- Use suction equipment when needed.
- Ensure a calm and attentive atmosphere as the client may tire easily.
