Female Support Worker – Plymouth – Driver
Female Support Worker, Full Time, Contracted Hours (Plymouth, Libertatem Healthcare Group). Pay: £12.71 per hour, 45p per mile (applicable to adjoining shifts), 28 days annual leave.
Job Responsibilities
You will support adults with a range of needs, helping them live safely, happily and independently in their own homes.
Key support areas may include:
- Mental health needs
- Limited mobility
- Non‑verbal communication
- Companionship needs
- Down syndrome
- OCD tendencies
- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
- Speech impediments
- Cerebral palsy
Daily duties could include:
- Personal care and household tasks
- Shopping and community activity support
- Transport and accessing the community (including use of personal car)
- Encouraging social engagement and hobbies
- Administering medication
- Promoting independence and wellbeing
Qualifications & Experience
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Availability to commit to weekday shifts and weekends
- Genuine passion for health and social care
- Person‑centred approach with safeguarding at the core
- Full UK driving licence (manual preferable)
- Willingness to learn and complete mandatory training
