Main duties of the job

  • Delivering high-quality care to a young child with complex needs.
  • Airway management, PEG feeding, managing seizures and dystonia, administering medication, providing personal care, and supporting social and recreational engagement.

Your Role:

As a skilled Paediatric HCA, you’ll deliver compassionate, clinical care to a young child with complex needs in their home. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Airway management (basic & advanced techniques).
  • PEG feeding (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy).
  • Managing seizures and dystonia.
  • Administering medication.
  • Providing personal care.
  • Supporting social and recreational engagement.

  • Experience in complex care (children or adults).
  • Confident in medication administration.
  • Skilled in PEG feeding and seizure/dystonia management.
  • Warm, bubbly personality with a calm and friendly approach.
  • Strong communication skills with families.

  • Full UK driving licence preferred (due to remote client locations).
