The Digital Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in the successful commercialisation of DEXIS digital solutions, with a main focus on intraoral scanner (IOS) workflows. This role directly contributes to DEXIS’ growth ambitions in the United Kingdom and Ireland, driving adoption of digital dentistry through expert engagement with Channel Partners, dental practices, labs, and strategic accounts. In close alignment with DEXIS Key Account Managers (KAMs), local UK/I Marketing Managers, and the Regional Leader, the Digital Sales Specialist leverages deep expertise in digital workflows powered by DEXIS IOS hardware and software. The objective is to enable and accelerate sell-out through DEXIS Channel Partners and to expand penetration in the UK/I dental market, in accordance with organisational policies and directives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the key field expert for DEXIS intraoral scanner workflows, delivering in-person training and product presentations for Strategic Partners, Dental Labs, DSOs, Enterprise Partners, and Dentists within an account-based management framework across the UK and Ireland.
- Train, coach, and co‑travel with sales teams of DEXIS Channel Partners, equipping them to confidently demonstrate IOS solutions and drive sell-out among dental care providers.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, trusted relationships with Channel Partner sales teams, DSO stakeholders, and Labs, ensuring strong advocacy for DEXIS IOS technologies in both direct and indirect collaboration models.
- Represent DEXIS or support Channel Partners in conducting end-user events, including tradeshows, workshops, webinars, and hands-on trainings, generating high-quality leads and opportunities in the UK/I market.
- Proactively follow up with sales opportunities in the DEXIS CRM funnel, supporting Channel Partners in converting leads into closed IOS sales.
- Support Channel Partners in post‑sales onboarding and clinical application training for end users adopting DEXIS IOS solutions.
- Collaborate in business development activities with strategic distributors and end-users (e.g., DSOs), providing advanced expertise on digital dentistry workflows.
- Log activities in the CRM system and produce business reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates as required.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, especially the Business Development Manager for DSO Business, to exceed defined annual sales goals within the UK & Ireland.
Job Requirements
- Proven professional experience in dental sales, preferably with extensive exposure to intraoral scanners and digital dentistry workflows.
- Demonstrated capability in selling and closing deals in both direct and indirect business models, ideally within the UK/I dental market.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to adapt IOS workflow demonstrations to varying clinical and business needs.
- Energetic, driven, and self‑motivated, with strong interpersonal and communication skills suited to engaging diverse UK/I dental customer profiles.
- Ability to rapidly absorb, internalize, and articulate advanced technical product knowledge, especially related to digital impressions and CAD/CAM workflows.
- High level of professionalism, customer-centricity, and an affinity for emerging dental technologies.
- Passion for training, coaching, and enabling others to achieve mastery of technical applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously across the UK & Ireland.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Field‑based role with frequent travel across the United Kingdom and Ireland and occasional international travel.
