The opportunity
As a Senior Account Executive, you will provide proactive organisational and project management support to publications focused client accounts within our EMC (Envision Medical Communications) business. You will play a key role in optimising processes and driving organic business growth alongside the Account Management lead.

Role responsibilities
- Directly prepare or support the preparation of project timelines.
- Develop and maintain account-specific project tracking information for use by internal team and/or client.
- Act as point person on assigned areas of responsibility for internal team members, client and other external stakeholders, responding independently and proactively to queries and requests as necessary.
- Liaise internally within the core account team and with shared services to monitor adherence to timelines, and use own judgement to troubleshoot project delivery issues, escalating these as appropriate.
- Coordinate the scheduling and execution of meetings and telecons (with internal and/or external participants), prepare agendas and meeting notes, and follow-up independently on action items as appropriate.
- Actively build positive relationships with client and other external project stakeholders.
- Apply a sound understanding of account financial management techniques, with supervision from the Account Management lead as necessary, to manage the financial aspects of assigned projects, including scope of work and budget development, budget tracking, invoicing and reconciliation.
- Prepare or support the preparation of materials for submission to client systems or tools and/or other platforms or websites.
- Employ EPG proprietary platforms and/or other client-specific tools as required on assigned account(s), and act as account team expert on these, proactively leading compliant utilisation and internal training.

Skills & expertise
- Demonstrated experience in a publications focused project/account management role in a medical communications agency is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint Teams, and Outlook).
- Experience using publications planning software platforms required (e.g. iEnvision, PubStrat, Komodo).
- Experience of developing and tracking project budgets is desirable but not essential.
