Lead high-impact DevOps teams, optimize cloud infrastructure, and drive automated, reliable software delivery across a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

We are looking for a DevOps Manager who will lead high-impact teams and manage strategic relationships with external vendors (cloud providers, SaaS platforms, infrastructure partners). In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations, empowering teams with efficient tools and processes, and ensuring continuous, high-velocity delivery and automated deployment of software solutions. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with inspirational leadership to accelerate our CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud infrastructure, and uphold best-in-class DevOps standards – all in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that thrives on innovation and continuous improvement. This role is a central part of putting Envision Pharma's clients first and ensuring dedicated service and a seamless deployment experience for our valued clients. This role is a great opportunity to transform Development Operations to the next level.

Role responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor DevOps engineers, encourage innovation, and ensure smooth incident and problem management, handling, response, and root-cause analysis.
  • Support team members' professional development and growth.
  • Own relationships with key technology vendors and service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, SaaS platforms), negotiate contracts, hold vendors accountable, and ensure technology aligns with company goals.
  • Work with stakeholders to plan deployments and client releases, enforcing consistent standards and best practices.
  • Own CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, promote infrastructure as code, and enhance release processes using Agile methods.
  • Design and optimize cloud systems to ensure scalability, security, and reliability; monitor performance and support new cloud solutions.
  • Identify risks in deployment plans or deliverables and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth, error-free releases.
  • Champion a DevOps approach that integrates security and quality checks throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Contribute to and maintain clear, high-quality architecture and design diagrams to support solution delivery and stakeholder understanding.
  • Serve as a bridge between development, operations, QA, and other teams; keep stakeholders informed about upcoming changes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Drive the introduction of new tools or practices (e.g., containerization, orchestration, DevSecOps) that can improve our efficiency or product quality.
  • Encourage a mindset of experimentation and learning within the team.

Skills & expertise

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 7–10 years of IT experience managing enterprise infrastructure or cloud platforms, with 3+ years leading technical teams.
  • Expertise in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, or equivalent).
  • Proficient in monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to streamline workflows and integrate systems.
  • Experience in fast-paced, client-facing environments, supporting platform rollouts, delivery teams, and operational excellence initiatives.
