The IT Project Manager is a senior delivery role responsible for planning, executing, and closing technology initiatives across Envision.
Role responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and within approved budgets.
- Develop and maintain project charters, plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reporting artifacts.
- Actively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, escalating where appropriate.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT Operations, Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate estimation, planning, and sequencing of work across multiple delivery streams.
- Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders on progress, risks, and delivery outcomes.
- Ensure alignment with Envision's change management, governance, and delivery standards.
- Support vendor coordination and delivery oversight where external partners are involved.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritising effort based on business value and delivery risk.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, tooling, and project hygiene.
Skills & expertise:
- Typically 4–7 years of experience delivering technology or IT projects in complex or regulated environments.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional initiatives involving infrastructure, applications, security, or business change.
- Hands-on experience with project planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
- Experience working with distributed or global teams preferred.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and delivery lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Ability to translate business objectives into executable delivery plans.
- Proven ability to manage risk, scope, and dependencies across complex initiatives.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting.
- Ability to influence without authority and drive accountability across delivery teams.
- Comfort operating in environments with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and competing demands.
- Working knowledge of IT operations, infrastructure, and security concepts sufficient to manage delivery risk.
