The opportunity
Our Value and Access business area has an exciting opportunity for a Systematic Literature Review Lead / Director of Evidence Reviews to join our growing Market Access and HEOR team, based in the UK. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and executing high‐quality, HTA‐aligned systematic literature reviews to support evidence generation and value demonstration. Working in close collaboration with Client Service teams and HEOR specialists, you will contribute to a variety of projects that drive healthcare decision‐making and product value communication. As part of our elite Envision Value & Access business area, you will encompass data evaluation and extraction, statistical analysis, evidence synthesis, report writing, database management, and strategic proposal development. Role responsibilities

  • Design, conduct, and manage Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) to support Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions and evidence synthesis.
  • Lead meta‐analyses and indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs), ensuring robust statistical methodologies.
  • Perform data extraction, synthesis, and critical appraisal of published literature.
  • Develop and execute systematic search strategies using key databases (e.g., MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane).
  • Ensure compliance with PRISMA guidelines and HTA best practices.
  • Interpret and report comparative effectiveness data in the context of Market Access and HEOR.
  • Collaborate with statisticians and health economists to integrate SLR findings into economic models.
  • Draft high‐quality SLR reports.
  • Support proposal development and project planning for SLR‐related projects.
  • Drive collaborations with Envision Medical Communication teams to engage clients for evidence reviews and expand footprint in our key accounts.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of HTA trends, evolving SLR methodologies, and competitor landscape to drive innovation in evidence generation.

Do you have what we’re looking for?

  • Qualified to PhD level in Health Sciences field – Desirable
  • Extensive SLR Experience. Demonstrated expertise in conducting HTA‐aligned Systematic Literature Reviews, including meta‐analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
  • Understanding of global HTA agency requirements and guidelines for SLRs, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
  • Strong expertise in data research methodologies, statistical analysis, and handling large datasets.
  • Prior experience in a Market Access consultancy, Value Demonstration team, or HEOR function – Desirable
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Experience of leading and mentoring junior colleagues, nurturing a collaborative and growth‐oriented environment.
  • Ability to critically appraise methodologies and data, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in proposal development, client engagement, and identifying new business opportunities within the evidence synthesis domain.
  • Familiarity with statistical packages such as R, STATA, SAS, or WinBUGs.
