The opportunity: As the Client Strategy & Enablement Director within our Envision Medical Communications (EMC) business area, you will play a pivotal leadership role in accelerating organic business growth across existing and new client accounts, helping achieve financial goals and long-term success. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you'll collaborate with agency leaders and the wider Envision Pharma Group (EPG) to lead RFI/RFP and pitch processes, crafting compelling, client‐focused proposals that win. You'll also help shape and launch innovative services that set EMC apart, including AI‐powered solutions, in partnership with the product development team. A key part of your impact will be building and nurturing a growth mindset across EMC through initiatives like GrowthNET. This great opportunity can be based from the UK, Serbia or Hungary.
Role responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the growth team, bringing visibility and strategic insight.
- Support in the development of creating compelling pitch proposal content.
- Create value propositions and narratives to support our Commercial team.
- Maintain expert knowledge of EMC and competitor offerings; collaborate with product development to launch differentiated services aligned with strategic priorities.
- Partner with account teams, Growth Connectors, commercial leads, and EPG verticals to identify and address white space opportunities, driving organic and new business growth.
- Lead pitch processes across agencies, applying best practices to deliver high‐impact proposals that exceed client expectations and maximise win rates.
- Champion new services and solutions internally and with clients to reinforce EMC's reputation as an industry leader.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to optimise performance metrics and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Support training initiatives to build high‐performing pitch teams with deep expertise and winning capabilities.
- Build and maintain a strong network of professional contacts across the biopharma industry.
- Lead client‐facing projects as needed, guiding teams to deliver innovative solutions that strengthen relationships and drive growth.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, providing education and insight on new services and industry trends to enhance engagement and demonstrate EMC's value.
Commercial Acumen:
- Support commercial discussions with clients and procurement teams, contributing to effective scoping and opportunity development.
- Apply deep industry knowledge to address commercial challenges and share resources across EMC.
Technical Expertise & Quality:
- Provide strategic guidance based on expert understanding of therapeutic areas, product positioning, regulatory environments, and medical communications services.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to champion innovative solutions that align with client priorities.
- Mentor and coach EMC team members to deepen expertise, enhance service quality, and strengthen growth capabilities.
- Encourage cross‐functional collaboration to develop integrated products and services that meet business objectives.
- Facilitate client meetings and stakeholder discussions using digital platforms and engaging strategies to achieve impactful outcomes.
