Please note: This is a temporary, 3–6 month assignment working full‑time hours. We welcome US‑based applicants interested in either a fully remote working arrangement or a hybrid model from our Raleigh, NC office.
Role responsibilities
Data Migration & System Transitions
- Support the extraction, formatting, validation, and upload of employee data as we transition between HR platforms
- Download and prepare historical data from legacy systems, resolving discrepancies, duplicates, and formatting issues
- Organize and document data files to maintain clear audit trails throughout the migration process
System Maintenance & Administration
- Support day‑to‑day HR platform administration, including user access reviews, data audits, and routine configuration updates
- Assist with data retention activities and document processes to ensure knowledge is captured and repeatable
Learning the HR Technology Stack
- Build working knowledge of the HR technology platforms we use and how they connect, from HRIS and case management to reporting tools
- Participate in team meetings and implementation discussions to understand how HR technology decisions are made in practice
- Ask questions, take notes, and build a strong foundation for a career in HR technology or people operations
Project Work
Depending on timing, business needs, and your interests, you may also contribute to:
- Building or refining Power BI dashboards to provide visibility into key workforce metrics
- Supporting HR case management workflows and self‑service configurations in Jira Service Management
- Researching and documenting practical AI use cases grounded in our team's day‑to‑day work and available tools
Skills & expertise
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Genuine interest in HR technology and curiosity about how systems work and connect
- Comfortable working with data, including organizing spreadsheets, identifying inconsistencies, and maintaining accuracy
- Detail‑oriented and organized, with a willingness to carefully check your work
- Demonstrated discretion and commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and HR data
- Strong communicator who can clearly flag issues, ask questions, and document work effectively
Nice to Have
- Exposure to HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now or similar systems
- Experience or coursework in data visualization, Power BI, or similar tools
- Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing and workflow platforms
- Interest in AI tools and curiosity about how they can be applied practically in HR
Salary range – $18–$20 per hour
The provided salary range reflects the potential base salary for this role in the United States, considering factors such as your professional and academic experience, training, and role responsibilities. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer an attractive total compensation benefits package designed to reward and support our people.
