The opportunity

We are seeking a Data Developer II with strong technical skills and a passion for building reliable data solutions.

In this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of complex challenges and delivering high-quality outcomes.

You will contribute across the full engineering lifecycle, including feature design, test-driven development, and Dev Ops integration to support CI/CD pipelines.

More than someone who simply moves data, you will act as a strategic partner who helps ensure that data across the organization is secure, high quality, and ready to support advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives.

  • Implement and maintain ETL pipelines using Fivetran, Snowflake, and DBT.
  • Query and analyze data using SQL and Python.
  • Develop and document data models, schemas, and standards.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance and reliability.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity using data validation and testing techniques.
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide concise, transparent communications about potential risks, mitigations, and business impacts in a timely manner.
  • Ability to understand technology trade off risks and rewards for the best customer value delivery.
  • Takes ownership to drive innovation for effectively leveraging technology to solve the customer problem.
  • Can design and define technical requirements with existing technologies.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Metadata Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive data lineage to provide transparency on data transformation from source to consumption.
  • Cost Optimization & Fin

Ops: Monitor and optimize Snowflake warehouse usage and Fivetran credit consumption to ensure the data strategy remains financially sustainable.

  • Interoperability Standards: Define and enforce enterprise-wide naming conventions, schema versioning, and API standards to ensure seamless data sharing across departments.

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of development experience
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, and DBT, or similar technologies
  • Experience working with cloud-based data storage and streaming platforms, along with a background in data analysis and statistical modeling
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Ability to design and define technical requirements when implementing new technologies and evaluating external tools
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including participation in Scrum ceremonies and the full software development lifecycle
  • Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously in a self-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with and exploring new or emerging technologies
  • CEFR English level B1 or higher required
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is beneficial but not required
