Family Law Solictor

Envision People is delighted to be working with a well-established South London law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor to join its busy and growing Family Department. The successful candidate will inherit an established caseload and play a key role in providing high-quality family law services to privately funded clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys autonomy, takes ownership of their work and is confident managing matters independently with the support of an experienced legal secretary. Key Responsibilities Managing a varied privately funded family law caseload. Advising clients on: Divorce and separation Financial remedy matters Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements Separation agreements Cohabitation disputes Conducting client meetings and maintaining strong client relationships. Managing files from instruction through to conclusion. Working with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of client care. Assisting with related employment law matters, including settlement agreements, where appropriate. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will: Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with family law experience. Have experience handling privately funded family law matters. Be confident managing their own caseload independently. Possess strong client care and communication skills. Be organised, proactive and capable of working within a small office environment. Be comfortable acting as the primary family law fee earner within the office. Desirable Experience The firm would be particularly interested in candidates with experience of: Financial remedy proceedings. High-net-worth divorce matters. Pre-nuptial agreements.
