A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Hounslow is seeking a Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join their team and play a key role in preparing pupils for their end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident KS2 teacher who enjoys targeted teaching, raising attainment, and working collaboratively within a Year 6 team.

The Role:

  • Lead and deliver focused Year 6 intervention groups in preparation for SATs
  • Plan and deliver small-group and targeted support in English and Maths
  • Track pupil progress and adapt interventions accordingly
  • Work closely with the Year 6 class teachers to identify priorities
  • Provide support and guidance to teachers within the Year 6 team where required
  • Help ensure pupils feel confident, supported and well prepared for SATs

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Has QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 2
  • Has a strong understanding of Year 6 curriculum and SATs expectations
