We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic SEND school in Watford, supporting students with a range of SEND needs. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary setting, have SEND experience, and be available for the full academic year.

The role:

  • Assist children in their learning and development as a teaching assistant
  • As a SEND teaching assistant, you will help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure student progress is prioritised
  • Work 1:1 with students with SEND needs to help them achieve their developmental milestones

Requirements:

  • Available immediately
  • Experience working in a primary school as a teaching assistant, supporting students with SEND
  • Willing to support SEND children in your role as a teaching assistant
  • MUST have a CHILD-ONLY DBS or be willing to obtain one
  • Experience with children in some capacity in the UK, with references available
  • Live local to Watford or within a commutable distance
