Envision Education is recruiting caring and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work in specialist schools across Hertfordshire, supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in care, support work, youth work or childcare who want to build a career in education. Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support.
- Help pupils develop learning, communication and social skills.
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
- Support classroom activities and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
- Work alongside teachers and other professionals to meet pupils' needs.
About You
- Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
- Patient, reliable and confident supporting additional needs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
