We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in St Albans.
You'll be supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them feel confident, engaged, and successful in the classroom.

This is a full time role, Monday - Friday 8:30-3:30pm starting in September.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom and during activities.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support where needed.
- Help pupils build confidence, communication, and independence.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Adapt support to suit individual learning needs.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider school team.
Essential
- At least 3 months' experience working with children or young people with SEND.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a Bachelor's Degree.
- Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or other communication approaches.
