The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
We are recruiting for experienced Exam Invigilators for a fantastic mainstream secondary school in the St. Albans area, starting mid May.
To apply for this role you must have a child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one through us.
The role:
- Checking and setting up exam rooms, distributing exam papers, and ensuring exam materials are secure.
- Helping candidates find their seats, answering questions, and ensuring they understand exam regulations.
- Monitoring the children in exam conditions.
- Reporting incidents to the exams team, contacting a first aider if a student is ill, and organizing the safe exit of candidates in an emergency.
- Collecting exam scripts, checking names against the attendance register, and returning exam materials to the exams officer.
Requirements:
- Available Monday - Friday.
- Able to start immediately as an Exam Invigilator.
- Must have previous exam invigilating experience.
- Child workforce DBS checked on update service.
- Experience working with children in the UK.
- Experience working with secondary/upper primary pupils open to working with secondary aged pupils.
