Teaching Assistants Required - Full-Time Roles at Specialist SEND School in Hemel Hempstead.
We're looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to become part of a welcoming and dedicated team at a specialist SEND school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with an immediate start.
If you have experience working with children in the UK, especially in an educational setting, we'd love to hear from you.
The role begins with a two-week paid trial and is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, subject to successful completion of the trial.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one or small group support as a Teaching Assistant, tailored to individual pupils' learning needs.
- Work closely with class teachers to help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Support pupils both in the classroom and throughout the school in your role as a Teaching Assistant.
- Contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils with SEND.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent, high-quality support for all learners.
- Immediate availability and based in or near Hemel Hempstead.
- Previous experience working with children in a professional capacity.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
- A genuine passion for helping every child reach their full potential.
- Willingness to assist with personal care and other specific needs as required.
