This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity , offering the potential to secure a permanent position within the school following a successful temporary placement.

The Role

As a

Level 3 Qualified Primary School Teaching Assistant , you will

  • Support primary-aged pupils with their learning and classroom activities.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
  • Support pupils with additional learning, behavioural or SEND needs.
  • Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom activities.
  • Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and support their individual needs.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • A

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

  • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).
  • Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • A reliable, proactive and adaptable approach.
  • The ability to commute to or work within the

Slough area.

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to transition from a temporary position into a permanent role within the school, subject to a successful placement and the school's requirements.
