In this role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with SEND, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential. Polish-speaking candidates are essential for this position. The Role:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND.
  • Foster the growth and development of children, ensuring their educational journey begins on a positive note.
  • Support children with additional needs, tailoring your approach to create a comfortable and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build a positive rapport with the child and provide emotional support where required.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an engaging and stimulating environment.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in learning activities.

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in Polish and English.
  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or alternative setting is desirable; however, candidates must have experience working with children in some capacity within the UK.
  • Enjoy supporting children and helping them progress in their learning.
  • Experience with SEND children is desirable, or a willingness to work with children with additional needs.
  • Hold, or be willing to apply for, a Child Only Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Live in Slough or within a commutable distance.
  • Available to attend a trial day on 2nd July 2026.
