A specialist provision in Slough is seeking a committed SEND/PE Teacher to join their team full-time. This rewarding role offers the chance to combine classroom teaching with physical education to support pupils with SEMH needs and additional learning challenges.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver a balanced timetable of both academic and physical education lessons tailored to the needs of SEND pupils.
- Create inclusive, engaging lessons that promote emotional wellbeing, physical development, and confidence.
- Foster strong, supportive relationships that help pupils regulate emotions and engage positively in learning.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and SEND professionals.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including planning, team meetings, and enrichment activities.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - applications from ECTs or unqualified teachers will not be considered.
- Experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally in a SEND, SEMH, or alternative provision setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with a calm and positive approach.
- A passion for inclusive physical education and whole-child development.
- A current DBS check (support available to obtain one if needed).
- Based in or near Slough, or able to commute reliably.
