SEND LEARNING ASSISTANT An exciting position opened in a popular, thriving school community, which proudly serves a rich and diverse multi-ethnic community.
We are seeking an enthusiastic SEND Learning Assistant eager to learn and further develop their SEND knowledge and working experience.
The role: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 16:00 Support pupils with their learning, lunchtime routines, and playtimes Work with the class teacher to prepare fun, safe, and engaging learning activities Help create a safe, positive environment where pupils can learn, grow, and become more independent.
Support pupils during therapy sessions and help them take part in lessons in mainstream classrooms.
Follow safeguarding policies and always help keep pupils safe. are met at all times We are looking for a person who: Has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a busy, rewarding environment.
Works well as part of a team and values supporting colleagues.
Communicates clearly and professionally.
Is passionate about helping children with a range of special educational needs.
Is patient, kind, caring, and puts children at the centre of everything they do.
Has a valid Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or is happy to apply for one.
