Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama and English lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
- Support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, through differentiated teaching strategies.
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage student confidence, independence, creativity, and participation in learning.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEND staff, and parents to support student progress.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Drama and/or English in a school setting.
- Knowledge of SEND and experience supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
Pay rate
Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
