Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Drama and English lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, through differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Encourage student confidence, independence, creativity, and participation in learning.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEND staff, and parents to support student progress.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Drama and/or English in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of SEND and experience supporting students with additional needs.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.

Pay rate

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
