Are you an experienced and passionate SEND School Teacher seeking a rewarding new role? Our partner school in Hanwell is currently recruiting for a Secondary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to work within a specialist setting supporting pupils with complex physical, medical and learning difficulties, as well as SEMH needs, within a highly supportive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with a range of complex needs
- Take on pastoral responsibility for a small group of pupils
- Adapt and differentiate learning to meet individual needs, including SEND and SEMH
- Create a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment
- Monitor and track pupil progress, implementing interventions where required
- Work closely with support staff to provide high-quality, personalised learning
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers and external professionals
- Support pupils' personal development, wellbeing and independence
- Uphold the school's values and commitment to inclusive education

Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within a school setting
- Experience supporting or teaching pupils with special educational needs
- A strong commitment to pupil learning and your own professional development
- High expectations and a determination to raise standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work closely with parents, external agencies and the wider community
- The right to work in the UK
- A DBS on the update service or be willing to complete one
