We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Slough. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, understanding, and ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with SEMH needs.
The Role:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs.
- Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons while adapting support to meet students' emotional and educational needs.
- Support students with managing their emotions, behaviours, and developing positive social skills.
- Help with the implementation of individual learning plans (ILPs) and monitor student progress.
Requirements:
- Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.
- DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
- Experience working with children in the UK is essential.
- Live in the Slough area or be able to commute.
