Are you practical, reliable and confident with repairs? Envision Education is looking for a School Caretaker in Hertfordshire to help keep a school safe, secure and well maintained.This role would suit someone with experience in caretaking, facilities maintenance or general building repairs.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out minor repairs, DIY and general site maintenance.

Complete routine health and safety checks and report faults.

Keep buildings and outdoor areas clean, tidy and safe.

Support opening, locking up and school site security.

Move furniture, manage deliveries and set up for school events.
Requirements

Experience in caretaking, maintenance or a similar practical role.

A full, valid driving licence is essential.

Good DIY skills and an awareness of health and safety.

Reliable, organised and able to work independently.

School experience is desirable, but not essential.

An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
