We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive school in St Albans. This role focuses on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, with an immediate start available.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children in the UK.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or additional needs is highly desirable.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to help pupils thrive academically and emotionally.

The Role of a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.

- Assist with classroom management and daily routines, helping to create a calm and structured setting.

- Live in or be able to commute easily to the St Albans area.
