We are partnering with a friendly, welcoming and inclusive primary school in Great Brickhill, Milton Keynes, seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant. You will support children aged 4-11 with SEND, helping them access learning, build confidence and develop independence.
Key Responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant:

Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support tailored to pupils' individual needs.

Adapt tasks and resources to help every child participate in learning.

Support pupils' emotional regulation, wellbeing and behaviour using a calm and consistent approach.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, following pupils' individual support plans.

Encourage pupils' independence, confidence and communication skills.
For this role, you will have:

Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting (reference required).

A patient, calm and reliable approach, with a genuine passion for inclusion.

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

The ability to commute to Great Brickhill or live locally.
- Training in Team Teach or Makaton is desirable but not essential.
