Envision Education is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Hayes. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (8:30am-3:30pm), with an immediate start available.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking to further develop their experience within a specialist school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEND as a Teaching Assistant
  • Support students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Assist teachers in delivering inclusive, engaging, and differentiated lessons
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
  • Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and social development
  • Support with personal care where required
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

  • Availability to start immediately
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in a professional setting
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
