Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to secondary school pupils.
- Flexibly cover other subjects and lessons across the school when required.
- Follow provided lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Support pupils in achieving their academic potential.
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to uphold the school's high standards.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, particularly within Science teaching environments.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has strong behaviour management skills.
- Is confident teaching Science at secondary level.
- Is flexible and willing to cover additional subjects when needed.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of health and safety procedures within a school setting.
- Is committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
