We are currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join a nursery setting. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young children, including those with additional needs, and is looking to further develop their experience within an inclusive early years environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to children, including those with SEND
- Support children with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language, and developmental delays
- Assist practitioners in delivering engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Promote positive behaviour and support children with emotional regulation and social development
- Encourage children's independence, confidence, and communication skills
- Support with personal care where required
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Availability to start immediately
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a professional or educational setting
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
- Specialists in securing long term and permanent placements for Teachers and a range of support staff
