Envision Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate English Teacher (SEND) to join a supportive school setting. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), while creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that enables every student to reach their full potential.

Requirements and Skills

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching English within a secondary or SEND setting
  • Strong understanding of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and associated learning needs
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to support varying abilities and learning styles
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting young people with additional needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
