Nursery Practicioner
We are working with a welcoming mainstream Nursery in West London that is seeking a Level 2-3 qualified Nursery Nurse to join their on site nursery provision. This role involves supporting young children's early development within a structured, nurturing environment and working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team.
Key Responsibilities for a Level 2-3 Nursery Nurse / Teaching Assistant:
- Support the learning, play and development of children within the nursery setting.
- Assist in delivering age appropriate activities that support early years development.
- Promote a safe, caring and inclusive environment for all children.
- Support children's social, emotional and communication development.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to support daily routines.
- Observe children's progress and contribute to record keeping where required.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times.
For this role, you will have:
- A full and relevant Level 2-3 Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting, either school based or private.
- A good understanding of early years development and learning through play.
- A caring, patient and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to commute to the West London area.
Days and Hours of Work:
9:00am - 6:00 pm, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
