Learning Support Assistant Wanted in High Wycombe for Immediate Start!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children's academic learning? We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Learning Support Assistant at a superb Primary school in High Wycombe. The role is Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm, providing 1:1 support.

The Role:

  • Aid teachers in creating a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children, including those with SEND, working with them on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Assist teachers in organising and implementing educational activities inside and outside the classroom.
  • Provide personal care support and motivate children to encourage their educational progress.

Requirements:

  • Able to work Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm.
  • Prior experience working with children is preferred; general experience with children is essential.
  • Comfortable providing 1:1 support for SEND children.
  • Have or be willing to obtain a Child Only DBS.
  • Live locally to High Wycombe or within a commutable distance.
