We are looking for a Lead Learning Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in Brent, supporting students aged 11-19 with special educational needs. This is a full-time, term-time-only role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils individually and in small groups.
- Help deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Encourage independence and celebrate achievements.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff and parents.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience working with young people.
- Is patient, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting pupils with SEND.
- Has strong communication and organisational skills.
- Works well within a team and can motivate pupils.
- Lives in or around Brent, or is happy to commute, and holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
