We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in High Wycombe for an immediate start.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the potential to secure a permanent position within the school following a successful temporary placement.

The school is looking for a teacher who can create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, inspire pupils and support them in achieving their full potential.

The Role

As a Primary School Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate lessons.
  • Teach pupils within a primary school setting and support their academic development.
  • Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs, abilities and learning styles of all pupils.
  • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress.
  • Set high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
  • Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
  • Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
  • Promote positive behaviour and effective classroom routines.
  • Contribute to wider school activities and the school community.
  • Ensure the safeguarding, safety and wellbeing of all pupils.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • The ability to differentiate learning to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
  • A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
  • The ability to commute to or work within the High Wycombe area.

Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to transition from a temporary position into a permanent teaching role within the school, subject to a successful placement and the school's requirements.

Pay: Competitive rates of pay, dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.

Location: High Wycombe.

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP.

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.

Contract: Temporary with the potential to become permanent.
