Envision Education is currently recruiting Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in High Wycombe. We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

Whether you are an experienced Early Years practitioner looking to move into a school setting, an experienced Teaching Assistant with an Early Years qualification, or have recently completed your Level 3 qualification and are looking to build your classroom experience, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and early years staff to support children's learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support

  • Supporting children with SEND and additional needs

  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources

  • Supporting children's communication, language and social development

  • Helping children develop confidence, independence and positive relationships

  • Encouraging children to explore, participate and engage in learning

  • Supporting children's emotional development and wellbeing

  • Helping children develop their fine and gross motor skills

  • Supporting children with their individual learning and developmental needs

  • Observing children's learning and development and sharing relevant information with teaching staff

  • Creating engaging and age-appropriate learning opportunities

  • Supporting positive behaviour and helping children regulate their emotions

  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, teachers and school staff

  • Helping maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment

  • Supporting the classroom teacher with the smooth running of the learning environment

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent

  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years, nursery, school, childcare or similar setting

  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework

  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

  • A patient, caring and nurturing approach

  • Confidence supporting children with different needs and abilities

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff

  • Reliable, professional and committed

  • Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

  • Based in High Wycombe or willing to commute to High Wycombe

  • A genuine interest in developing your career within education

  • Experience supporting children with SEND, speech and language needs or behavioural needs would be advantageous

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
