We are currently recruiting dedicated and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of excellent schools in the High Wycombe area. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM), with an immediate start available.
About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will provide consistent classroom support across different schools. You will assist teachers with lesson delivery, support students in their learning, and help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lessons across a variety of subjects
- Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay focused
- Provide support to pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN where required
- Assist with preparing classroom materials and resources
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Full-time availability, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Recent experience working with children or young people in the UK (essential)
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role (desirable)
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Based in or able to commute to High Wycombe
