Healthcare Assistant to join their supportive team. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity

You'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, promoting their independence, and ensuring their health and wellbeing needs are met throughout the school day.
You'll work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and support staff who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
- Your Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and medical support to pupils where required.
- Support pupils with their daily routines while encouraging independence.
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to ensure pupils can fully access learning.
- Monitor pupils' wellbeing and report any concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Support children with physical disabilities, complex needs and SEND.
- Promote a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, Care Assistant or in a similar care role.
- A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
- Right to work in the UK.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
- Experience with personal care or manual handling.
- Relevant healthcare or care qualification.
